The HC, like most major media outlets, is more interested in pressing its own political agenda than in giving its readers all of the information they need to make informed decisions. Consequently there are certain views, opinions, and even facts that will seldom, if ever appear in these hallowed pages, and those things are what we call the “NoNo’s”. We at CoB keep an eagle eye out for the “NoNo’s”, for the appearance of any information pertaining to them in the HC, and immediately inform our readers.
Manmade Global Warming
The HC will never, ever acknowledge that there exists any skepticism concerning Global Warming, if it is real, and, if so, whether or not it’s man-made. Of course many skeptics exist, some of them prominent scientists. They deserve to be heard, and the HC should be ashamed of itself for denying its readers the opportunity to hear them. Americans are smart; given the whole story, they can make up their own minds.
Prior to the Democrats taking over Congress, the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works was chaired by Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma. Senator Inhofe is an outstanding congressman, possessing something quite uncommon in the halls of Congress these days; Common Sense. Senator Inhofe is among the leading skeptics of MMGW (Man Made Global Warming), and has been instrumental in keeping America out of the hands of the MMGW proponents.
Now that the Democrats are in control (hopefully not for long), that position belongs to Senator Barbara Boxer (feel free to hiss and boo), who is of the opposite mind of her predecessor.
What follows are links to several websites that contain important information on MMGW, information that HC readers are entitled to, including Senator Inhofe’s Press Blog. Once the truth is out about MMGW and Americans understand the costs to them and this country, it will be rejected post haste, as will be any politician, Republican or Democrat, that professes belief in it.

School Vouchers
The HC would die and go to hell before printing anyone or anything that promoted school vouchers. From time-to-time we’ll see a gushy editorial or op-ed piece on some special public school that is taking minority and/or at-risk students and making geniuses out of them, while ignoring the fact that the large majority is trapped in the general population of underperforming public schools. Adding insult to injury, the Wizards of Op (the anonymous folks hiding behind the curtain of editorial accountability), send out their attack dogs to shred the legs of folks like James Leininger, calling him the “$5 million gorilla in legislative races” for supporting school vouchers (there is something wrong with that; it’s called conservatism). I think it was Einstein who said that doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome each time is called insanity. But never mind that public education is a dismal failure under which minorities suffer most. I don't think that democrats are really invested in it because it keeps them in power, but because it makes them feel good, and that's what it's all about for them, regardless if it does any good or not.

Gun Control:
Ever read anything positive in the HC (other than in the sports pages) about gun ownership? Me neither.
Media Criticism:
Ever read anything negative in the HC about any mainstream media organization or personality? Me neither, unless you consider Fox News or Bill O'Reilly mainstream.
The Democrats:
Ever read anything negative in the HC about Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid? Me neither.
Wealthy Donors:
The HC keeps up a constant drumbeat about wealthy Republicans trying to influence our elected officials, but never mentions wealthy Democrats doing the same (George Soros, Mark Cuban, John corzine, etc.).
